Eric Carmen, RIP Singer-songwriter Eric Carmen, frontman of the pop-rock band the Raspberries who went on to achieve success with songs such as “All By Myself” and “Hungry Eyes,” has died. He was 74.

One of the great forgotten hits of the seventies (the nineTEEN seventies) is “Overnight Sensation (Hit Record)” by the Raspberries. Eric’s vocals on that song are absolutely amazing.
