RIP Robert Banas ENCIO, Calif.– Dancer and choreographer Robert Banas, perhaps best known for his role as Joy Boy in “West Side Story,” died here July 29. He also appeared in “Bye Bye Birdie,” “The Unsinkable Molly Brown and “Mary Poppins.” He was 90.
MSTies will recall his performance played as Sonny DiMarco in the movie in episode 307- DADDY-O. He also did choreography for the movie in episode 609- THE SKYDIVERS and played a work farm inmate in the movie in episode 112- UNTAMED YOUTH. 2 Replies to “RIP Robert Banas”Commenting at Satellite News
