Hmm. CT is considering riffing the Hobgoblins sequel? That would be very interesting.

I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting him to say Mike was his favorite host.

Hm… deja vu. Sure this isn’t a new interview?

Hmm, with the ongoing success of CT, Joel seems to have gotten a lot less defensive. Good! I didn’t like Bitter Joel much.

Can’t wait to see the new DVD!

Yeah, Joel said that he doesn’t know where the Hobgoblins sequel is, but he was approached about it. All argument aside, Hobgoblins was probably my favorite episode.

If you take a look at my other interview with Mike Nelson (it’s linked there,) I asked him the same Mike/Joel question.

take it with a grain of salt, but i think its interested that he’s kind of changed his tune from a reunion “never going to happen” to “unlikely but possible”

Definitely with a grain of salt.

But it’s interesting. He just sounded like it’s a logistical nightmare. I’d love to just see them do features together, while they both do their amazingly awesome independent projects.

That having been said: I think it’s kind of weird. My Mike interview got about 20,000 hits within 48 hours. My Joel interview is pushing about 2,000. I wonder why that is.
