Boy, Mike’s right. That’s one weird question. It kinda has that “this’ll show Mike how clever I am” feel to it.

He’s right about Black Books, by the way.

The episode where Bill Bailey ends up like Igor is fantastic…

    Well, I liked it.

The premise is all wrong, though. The choice isn’t Lyle Waggoner or Harvey Korman. It’s Harvey Korman or Dick Van Dyke (who replaced Korman in the ensemble)… just sayin’.

It may be one of the strangest questions Mike’s ever gotten, but I don’t think it remotely approaches the odd questions Trace, Jim and Joel fielded in that interview with tor.com at Comic-Con in 2008.

Mostly good interview. I’d agree with Mike on this one- Harvey has better name recognition, recognizability and versatility.

Well, apparently “Red Zone Cuba” really did cause pain. Is this life imitating art?

This is one of the better interviews I’ve seen in a while. They had good, relevant questions that were unique.

Lyle Waggoner = The poor man’s Robert Wagner, who was the 20th Century’s answer to Richard Wagner, who absolutely LOATHED being compared to George Day Wagner. Can you blame him?

Good interview — brief and with solid questions. I thought the Carol Burnett question was right on. Waggoner was the smooth straight man, and Korman got to ham it up. Sort of a Mike/Forrester choice really.

Those who dis the quality of Lyle Waggoner have obviously not seen his tearjerking performance as “Chief Boyardie” in the 1984 masterpiece of celluloid, ‘Surf II: The End of the Trilogy’. :x

And Lyle Waggoner got to work with Lynda Carter for 3 or 4 years! And this after being a jerk boyfriend to the Creepy Girl. … I loved Surf II. Didn’t know it had “The End of the Trilogy” in the title though. Kind of amusing, eh??
