Web Comic Mention

Heh. That would be a mixed blessing, I would think.

  1. I’m somewhat embarrassed to admit I would totally see Bananaman Begins.

Bananaman Begins reminds me of a conversation I heard on SModcast in which Scott Mosier pointed out that given the choice between seeing GAY BATMAN and THE DARK KNIGHT that he’d have to go with GAY BATMAN.

Ya gotta think it would be cool to see the SOL blow up an asteroid with a Aerosmith tune cranking in the background.

It actually fits well, especially with the whole Mike Nelson, Destroyer of Worlds thing in Season 8.

Ah, MST3K – the Michael Bay film, I can see it now…. Starring Nicholas Cage as The Human! Crow and Tom would no longer be puppets, but CGI! Steve Bushemi as Dr Clayton Forrester and Phillip Seymour Hoffman as TV’s Frank! And explosions!! I can just see Bay having them riff “Deep Impact” as their movie…..

Silly? You betcha! but no sillier than Transformers 2…

Having Michael Bay re-imagine MST3K would be horribly ironic, as if all those bad movies that were MSTed over the years were getting revenge.

  8. Nutcase says:

It might work if it were an animated film featuring the original cast playing their roles, like with how Bill, Dan, Ernie, and Harold portrayed their respective roles in the Ghostbusters video game.
