• MST3K is also referenced, of course, in a story today about a “horrible movie night” at an L.A. theater.
• And at Time.com, longtime MSTie Richard Corliss (who once gave us an award
) mentions the show in an appreciation of Peter Graves.
Some Media Mentions• He was quoted in the New York Times only a short time ago, and he appears to be becoming the Times go-to guy on the topic of bad movies. He’s quoted again in a story in tomorrow’s paper about “Birdemic.”

Birdemic is Cheesedemic!!!
Boy, HE sure is getting a lot of press lately.
I did not know that HE was so popular and well know in the media.
When I met HIM at the San Diego Comic-con, HE was very approachable and would answer fan’s questions. HE did seem a little quiet and reserved.
Now HE is the “go to” guy for all the bad films out there.
Thanks for bring HIM to our attention.
Now that we know HIM we can connect HIM to the film industry as needed.
I, for one, am very glad that HE is becoming a household word.
If it is one person I am glad I met, it is HIM, for HE has been such a big part of my entertainment life.
Thank you for notifying us of HIS input.
I am adding HIM to my Yahoo Alerts to keep up on what HE is doing.
He was really friendly at the Royal Oak show on his birthday.
Don’t think you mentioned this? Nice review from PopMatters of the new box: http://www.popmatters.com/pm/post/122571-mystery-science-theater-3000-xvii/
Ah, the Horrible Movie Night:
Some of us Bostonians still remember the 24-Hr. Sci-Fi Marathon–An otherwise straightforward SF movie night (although it’s been harder to get good prints of the classics nowadays), and not meant to be a cheesefest…But similarly get a sleep-punchy audience in an old movie-palace theater from 12-2am, and you start getting MST3K for real. :)
Oh, the reaction we once had to Michael Crichton’s painful “The Terminal Man”…
