    Wow, talk about depressing! While it’s kind of refreshing to find a film made in the 50s that acknowledges that life wasn’t all sunshine ‘n’ kittens, three of those kids live frankly horrific lives. The riffs are really cathartic in this one.

    @John H. This one really got to me for the very reasons you stated. Cathartic and funny, we hope, but yikes… with two young kids, I found this harder to deal with than SAW!
