    Legacy of Blood for the first show at Royal Oak! Very cool! I haven’t seen that one live yet. I hope they do Rattlers for the second show.

  2. I just got my tickets for the double feature of “Samson” and “Rattlers” in San Francisco. Hopefully “War of the Insects” will be coming soon to DVD as I missed it when they were last here, due to a burglary at my home. Had tickets and everything… I came home after work to change clothes then had to call the police and wait for hours for them to show up. A major drag. And no, they didn’t catch the guy…

    I was at the SF show in August, I would say that it you didnt miss much to make you feel better, but I cant lie, it was SO awesome (I have also had my house robbed before, never caught the guy either, never recovered any of my stuff). Counting down the days until May!!

    Oy. I’m glad the live shows are going strong, but a DVD release would be quite welcome at this point.

    @4 I’m pretty sure they’ll release WAR OF THE INSECTS sometime this month,since they haven’t released a new dvd in quite some time and second,they usually release a new one right before one of their live dates.Didn’t Joel say in an interview that they have 2 already recorded? Keep your fingers crossed..

    I hate to be ‘that guy’ that insists on complaining about his city not being visited whenever some kind of tour information is posted, but they really should do more shows in the hometown of Minneapolis.

    *sigh* I really do wish that they’d do a show in Texas. Still, I look forward to the DVDs that’ll be coming out soon (hopefully), and I’m glad that they’ve been spreading the funny so frequently.

    What a surprise. Nothing even remotely close to Denver.

    Smeg off CT!

    @9 Have you thought of suggesting Denver to them?

    Great to see they are still touring. Now that we’ve seen them four times I can afford to be a little bit patient. I’m just waiting for another date in the Washington, D.C. area and then we’re there!

    I know exactly how you feel, Luke. :-(( I have been trying for months to get CT in Atlantic City. Don’t even get any kind of response. Theater halls don’t exist where I live. And, honestly, I don’t feel like driving to Philly.

    @12 Have you thought of suggesting Atlantic City to them? I seriously doubt CT decide on where to play,don’t you? How long is Philly from where you’re at anyway?

  14. hellokittee says:

    I feel like they have said before that they just need venues that will agree to let them have a show there (like the venue needs to believe its enough of a draw maybe?). So its probably a matter of contacting a venue that you think would be appropriate and telling them you want to see CT there and that you happen to know that there are a lot of fans in your city. This could all be speculation, its just what I have gathered from what they have said on Facebook.

    @ 13 and 14

    I have done exactly that. I have been begging them on their Facebook page to come to Atlantic City. I have contacted the Atlantic City Convention Center so many times and I still don’t get any kind of response. Not even an automated one.

    @Gary,

    Philly is at least an hour or more from me, give or take. I have to drive. No such thing as public transporation, either. Also, I do not know Philly at all so having to find parking near wherever CT goes (if they do tour to Philly) is just too much of a hassle.

  16. Gary Bowden says:

    @15 Only an hour or more and that’s it? That should be no problem at all.If you don’t know your way around,then go to MapQuest and get directions.I’ve printed out directions when I went to Memphis(5 hours from me)and Dallas(5 hours from me)and Oklahoma City(2 hours from me)I don’t think it would be too much of a hassle,since you’re so close to Philly and it wouldn’t be that hard to find the place where CT is performing.Have a friend or your boyfriend go and make the trip that more bearable.Get there early and sight see,too..

    I will admit i am spoiled, seeing them a few times in Milwaukee and Chicago. But the 18th they will perform East Meets Watts….they have already done this one in this area. I thought they were avoiding repeats??? How about an older release of theirs….I’d die if it was Doomsday Machine. But again, I shouldn’t complain. Cannot wait for Rattlers!

    @Gary

    I’m not exactly close to Philly. I basically live in the Pine Barrens. I did MapQuest the Keswick Theater the first time CT went there and I didn’t like the drive time. I am comfortable with Atlantic City, I know how to get there, and I can get home much easier from there than Philly. I also tried the Sun National Bank Center in Trenton, and still haven’t gotten any kind of acknowledge. Even just an automated response would stop me from flooding peoples’ email boxes every week or so. :-P

    @18 Do you exactly how far you are from Philly? Is it an hour or 90 minutes? Or less than 2 hours? If it’s 2 hours or less than that,that’s still not bad.I didn’t know how to get to Lakewood Theater in Dallas or to New Daisy Theater in Memphis and even though the directions did help,I still missed a few turns and exits because of the directions,but I made it there and back.So,if you’re willing to deal with all of that,then go and put up with it and when you come back home all safe and sound,you can at least say,”I finally saw Cinematic Titanic and I met them,they signed a few things,I shook their hands and I had a blast!” Depends on how bad you want to see them and of course,if you have the money..Good luck if you do go see them..I remember leaving a message back in December on here,saying you better start saving your pennies if you plan on seeing them.

    The April 16th show at McCarter Theater in Princeton is not far from Trenton and in a much better neighborhood. The Sun Center may be a little too big for a CT show. Perhaps you should try contacting the War Memorial theater in Trenton, they have hosted comedy shows like George Carlin and Bill Cosby in the past. Just a suggestion. :-)

    @ Gary

    The distance really depends on where the venue is in Philly. I really, really, really, really want to see CT live. My inexperience with Philly makes me a little hesitant to travel like that. I know they’re coming to Jersey in April. However, those venues are at least 90 minutes from me. That’s why I want them a bit closer than that. I just begged them today on their Facebook page (again) to try to come to AC. I just wish whoever reads the emails at the Convention Center would just acknowledge them. Just a simple “Thank you. We’ll look into it” would suffice.

    @darthservo,

    Sun National Bank isn’t really that big. I’ve been there for several WWE shows and it’s not as big as you would think. I’m about 45 minutes from Trenton (give or take depending on traffic) so that would be no problem for me to travel that way also.

    Rattlers, eh? I couldn’t make the Newark show, but Morristown is even closer. Of course, I’ll need to get a WATCH OUT FOR SNAKES tee shirt…

    Anybody been to the Mayo Community theater? It looks tiny. I’d better get tickets early.

    Also, it may sound like Laura’s a whiny crybaby, but I’ve driven in Philly and it IS the most dauntingly confusing city I’ve ever tried to navigate here in the Northeast. (Never visited DC, though.

    Poughkeepsie could probably give Philly a run for, too. Hmm… CT at the Bardavon would be sweet…

    @21 I understand you want them to come closer and I admire you for your persistence in trying to get them to perform in AC,but sometimes you have to take what you can get.I do hope they(either CT or whoever is in charge)listen to you and perform where you’d like for them to.If not,just think,you weren’t that far to see them in the first place.Good luck to you!

    Laura, Princeton is literally 13 miles from Trenton. Getting to the venue would only add 15 minutes to your trip.

  26. Luke Forrester says:

    Yeah, anyone living on the East coast has had plenty of venues within driving distance. Denver… Not so much. The upcoming Arizona show will be the “closest”.

    But hey, if CT doesn’t want my money, I’ve got plenty of other things I can use it on. I’d even be happy if they’d even do a Rifftrax streaming show with Fathom events.

    Thanks, Gary. I missed Joel saying they had a few ‘in the can,’ and I’d certainly noticed that they’re approaching a record for longest interval without a release (and that was when they switched from studio to live, of course). Always good to get some additional info.

    @27 No problem Matt.I know CT won’t stop releasing new dvd’s because that’s part of their bread and butter.I know CT is testing our patience,but they’ll come out with one pretty soon.I haven’t given up..never will.I have other dvd’s(MST3K,Rifftrax and Incognito Cinema Warriors XP)to tide me over until then.

    Saw Rattlers in Newark in November. Now there doing the same show 6 months latter at a theater that’s half-an-hour away in Morristown. I’m not sure I understand the logic there. I had planned to go, but since it’s a repeat, I’ll have to pass.

    In response to an earlier post, the Morristown theater is beautiful. A great place for the CT crew to perform.

    Also skipping the Morristown show….why Rattlers again?….we’ll probably go to the Princeton, nj show, if we can ever find out what movie theyre doing….it’s listed as “audience choice” on the CT website, but is the choice made right at the theater or are they doing some on line survey?

  31. Fred says:

    Don, You and I are of like mind on the subject. I’m skipping Morristown and I’ve hesitated to buy tickets for the Princeton show based on the “audience choice” issue. What’s the choice? Last year at the Princeton show, they at least listed the two options beforehand. I’d really like to know the movie before I buy tickets, so I know for certain I’m not seeing another repeat. Hopefully more info. will be provided soon.

    I just located where you can vote for the “audience choice” for the Mccarter/Princeton, nj show for April……just go the the cinematic titanic website for live tour and go to the ticket info and then select “details” about the show…..at the bottom of the page, it says, “vote for the best” and that takes you to the voting page…since most of the choices are already on DVD, I selected “Samson and the 7 miracles” (grumpy, sleepy,,dopey…?)….the winner will be announced at the show ….hopefully, most folks voting will have already seen Rattlers at least once…
