 Los Angeles — Actress Loni Anderson died August 3 at a hospital here. She was 79.
While best known for her role as gorgeous-and-savvy receptionist Jennifer on the truly wonderful series “WKRP in Cincinnati,” MSTies will remember she also played Cathy in the movie in episode 1304- MUNCHIE. She was was mentioned in a host segments in episodes 514- TEENAGE STRANGLER and 1104- AVALANCHE. Thanks to Timmy for the heads up.  Losos, Calif. — Character actor Jack Betts, who starred in spaghetti Westerns and appeared in such notable films as “Spider-Man” and “Gods and Monsters” died June 19 at his home here. He was 96.
MSTies may remember he played Ken Martin in the TV soap opera GENERAL HOSPITAL, episodes of which were seen as shorts in season four. Thanks to Timmy for the heads up. |
