Max the Hero–the animated comedy short written and voiced by Bill Corbett, Kevin Murphy and Mike Nelson, and produced and directed by Nashville-based Mike Salva–will be screened on February 15-17 as part of the 2008 United States Super 8 Film & Digital Video Festival. The festival takes place at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Visit the the festival’s web site for full details.

The fan-written riff on the Joel Schumacher’s magnum opus, “Batman & Robin” is out now. Back in November, Slashdot asked its readers to submit questions for Joel Hodgson. His responses have finally been posted. It appears some of the more hardcore readers over there have taken offense to him being against trading copyrighted content.
