I interviewed Nelson before Hodgson’s announcement, so I didn’t get the chance to ask him about having to compete with his former collaborator.

The Fort Wayne (Ind.) Journal Gazette has a piece that’s mostly about Rifftrax and The Film Crew, but also mentions CT at the end. And get this line:

I just completed an update of the Umbilicus (that’s our links pages). For the past few years, that process has mostly involved deleting dead links, as more and more MST3K fan sites vanish from the Web.
Two requests: The Center for Media and Democracy has begun a project looking at the so-called “mental hygiene” films of the ’50s that the show used in many shorts, and they quite rightly mention the show that repopularized them. Thanks to Emily for the heads up! There are a couple of new entries over at the Cinematic Titanic site, including an interesting post by J. Elvis about how he created the Cinematic Titanic theme song.
