Favorite Costume Worn by a Human

We did favorite costumes worn by a bot — in fact, I just realized today that we did it twice. Oy.

But alert reader David has a topic we haven’t done, vis:

How about personal costume favorites worn by Joel, Mike, Frank, Clayton, Pearl, Bobo and Brain Guy? My favs for Frank and Clay were playing Rollie Fingers and Ted McGraw.

I think I’d have to pick the Clayton and Frank “gussied up to beat the band” in episode 406- ATTACK OF THE GIANT LEECHES.

What’s your pick?

How Was the Show?

Cinematic Titanic hits the Carolinas this weekend: Durham N.C. on Friday night and Greenville, S.C. Saturday night. This is an open thread for reports from both shows.

Update: Pre-Show CT Press + Mary Jo Interviews

Update: Jake B. Grove of Independentmail.com has a brief interview with Frank and Trace.

Neil “don’t call me” Shurley at Examiner.com previews the Greenville show and chats with Mary Jo.

Trace phones in the fresh quotes for Zach Smith at Indyweek.com ahead of this weekend’s Cinematic Titanic show in Durham, N.C.

Meanwhile, Grant McDaniel at TheDeadCenter.com talks horror movies with Mary Jo.

Weekend Discussion Thread: Oldest ‘Teenager’ in a Movie or Short

First of all, sorry for the late arrival of this. I’m having a crazy weekend (it’s St. Pat’s Parade Day in Scranton, don’t get me started).

Alert emailer “DaveyR_98” suggests we discuss…

“Oldest-appearing ‘teenager”” in a film. One rule: no fair looking up the actor’s age, this is just by appearance. Also, be aware that the actors in “Ring of Terror”were supposedly in medical school – they would have been in their (ha ha) twenties, so they are not eligible. My candidate: the “supernaturally unappealing” (Mike Nelson’s verbiage, applied to a different actor) Mel Torme in “Girls Town”.

I’m expanding the discussion to include shorts, allowing me to mention Liz, the Romulan roommate in “Is This Love?”

What’s your pick?
