![]() The RiffTrax Live guys have announced the name of the movie they will riff at the first RiffTrax Live Online show Thursday, Dec. 16. It is “Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny.” Flotsam and Jetsam from the Web today:
Jenny Kobiela-Mondor, a blogger for the Fort Wayne Daily News, enjoys RiffTrax… Stan Horzepa, at ham radio web site arrl.org, sees a bad movie with a ham radio in it and, of course, focuses on the ham radio.
FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. — Leslie Nielsen, the handsome leading man of the 1950s who, in the 1980s and ’90s discovered a new career as a comic actor, died of complications from pneumonia Sunday, Nov. 28, at a hospital near his home here. He was 84. MSTies will remember his performance as the corrupt mayor in episode K16 – CITY ON FIRE. Read his L.A. Times obituary here. We don’t have a lot that’s brand new this holiday season, but for your Cyber Monday shopping pleasure we remind you that:
Our full line of Catchphrase T-shirts/hoodies are here. They come in black with white lettering, white with black lettering, lady-shaped shirts, hoodies and special Christmas-themed shirts in holiday red. And of course, you can buy a bunch of stuff with the Satellite News logo on it here. Included in that shop is the 2011 edition of our annual calendar. And we would like to remind you of the awesome art work by our pal Jean Jackson that you can buy here. And, finally, if you just want to give us a present, look to your right for the link to our tip jar, where you can make a donation to keep Satellite News up and running. Happy holidays! An open thread for reports from Saturday night’s Cinematic Titanic show.
