We definitely have to open this one up to shorts as well as movies, in which case I will have to nominate the unkempt, middle-aged college students in “Body Care and Grooming.” What”s your pick? An open thread for reports from Friday’s Cinematic Titanic show in Washington, DC, and Saturday’s show at the University of Rhode Island.

Finally, the Starz cable channel put out this little preview of the upcoming RiffTrax Live show: Ticketmaster is offering a “two-for-the-price-of-one” sale on tickets for the Cinematic Titanic show at the University of Rhode Island Saturday. You must buy the tickets by Saturday at NOON and you must do it through Ticketmaster. You can buy them here. All tickets sold at the door will be full price.
Cinematic Titanic will do a show at the University of Rhode Island Saturday night. Nat Tingley at a student newspaper called “A Good 5 Cent Cigar” interviews Joel in advance of the show.
Monica Hesse of The Washington Post has a nice long piece about Cinematic Titanic in advance of tonight’s show in Washington D.C.
