Weekend Discussion Thread: Least-Convincing Teenagers in a Movie or Short

Alert reader Robert suggests:

How about “Least convincing teenagers/college students in an episode?”
From the geriatric college students in “Ring of Terror” to the 30-year-old “Teenagers from Outer Space,” episode casting directors must have been really lazy back then!

We definitely have to open this one up to shorts as well as movies, in which case I will have to nominate the unkempt, middle-aged college students in “Body Care and Grooming.”

2-for-1 Sale for Cinematic Titanic Tickets Continues

Ticketmaster is offering a “two-for-the-price-of-one” sale on tickets for the Cinematic Titanic show at the University of Rhode Island Saturday. You must buy the tickets by Saturday at NOON and you must do it through Ticketmaster. You can buy them here. All tickets sold at the door will be full price.

Pre-Show Media Ahead of This Weekend’s CT Shows

Cinematic Titanic will do a show at the University of Rhode Island Saturday night. Nat Tingley at a student newspaper called “A Good 5 Cent Cigar” interviews Joel in advance of the show.

Monica Hesse of The Washington Post has a nice long piece about Cinematic Titanic in advance of tonight’s show in Washington D.C.
