RIP Lyle Waggoner LOS ANGELES–Actor and comedian Lyle Waggoner, perhaps best remembered as a stalwart straight man on “The Carol Burnett Show” and on TV as a co-star on TV’s “Wonder Woman” series, died March 17. He was 84.

He really was such a handsome man, especially as Wonder Woman’s Colonel Steve in that snappy uniform. He made a decent kinda menacing yet still quite handsome guy, too, in Catalina Caper. Tommy Kirk was lucky not to get his arse kicked by Angelo.
One of his best Carol Burnett appearances. Tim Conway makes him crack up.
