Shout! Factory has sublicensed the MST3K 20th Anniversary Box Set to Beyond Home Entertainment, who has retitled it as “Mystery Science Theatre 3000 – Vol. 1” for release in Australia and New Zealand. It’s due out on June 10th, but you can pre-order it now.
Thanks to Jordan, not only his hard work for many years bringing us MST3K, not only for taking the time to answer these questions, but also for the quick turnaround!
Check it out. The “MST3K 20th Anniversary Edition” DVD set has been nominated by the Saturn Awards in the Best DVD Collection category. The 35th Annual Awards will be held on June 25th. Congratulations to Shout! Factory!
Thanks to our buddy Tom for the heads up. Shout! Factory tells us that, due to technical quality issues, they’re replacing the footage of Joel and Trace’s MIT appearance with another bonus feature to be named later. They assure us they still plan to produce a featurette on “The Speculative Science and Technology of MST3K” with Joel and Trace for a future release.
