Awesome, this is one of the great bad Italian Mad Max rip-offs from the 80’s. I reviewed it for my blog a few months ago.
One of my fave Italian post-apocalypse movies. Even though I rarely find RiffTrax funny, I may have to check it out.
Sounds like fun. I think they’re starting to realize that Cinematic Titanic had the right idea in sticking with the MST3K formula of just riffing on obscure bad movies, and including it all in one package. Now if they could just add silhouettes to these, I would be a happy man.
Already downloaded and watched. Quite possibly one of the best they have ever done.
Fav line – “hanging out, hanging out, hanging out with my enemies…” (love the references to past flicks and half-expected a “watch out for snakes” quip during the desert scenes)
Had this film on VHS as a kid. Upon finishing it I wrote “this sucks, the Italians can’t make movies” on the box. So this is a riff I’ve been waiting years for!
Too bad it’s not on dvd or I would get it.Maybe next time….
I think the plan is at some future point that these vod title will be made available on dvd. I sure hope this happens.

Wow, it even stars Fred Williamson the same year he was in Warrior of the Lost World. It’s like he was trying to write a book called “My Year of Starring in Crappy Italian Apocalypse Movies.”
Heh… one of the most creative end credit riffs since the MST3K days.
The VOD was choppy but the download worked just fine, so I spent my evening with RiffTrax. I was both amused and disturbed, which is pretty much the state I’m most comfortable existing in.
I think it’s likely most of these will end up as a DVD eventually. Personally, I buy all the VOD’s
and the ones I really, really like I’ll spring for the DVD too.
And don’t forget this is directed by the same guy who did Escape 2000. No Trash and I’m guessing no Toberlone but….heh. That’s okay, right? Will download after payday and enjoy on the weekend.
Sampo, how about having a how was the “(fill in the blank)” Rifftrax VOD/new release about a week or so after it’s released (to give people a chance to download and watch) just as you do with CT’s live shows? That way people can post about the riffs etc. instead of these obligatory “I can’t download” “I love to download” “I want a DVD”, posts?
And now Buffalo Rider is a comin’. I can’t keep up with these guys ; )
