or, Don’t hate Tom Servo’s new voice! Get to know him!
Best Brains has always plucked its performers and writers from Minneapolis’ vibrant comedy community. And when it chose the performer for Tom Servo’s new voice, it did so again.
James Moore, 31, a native of Richfield, Minnesota, has been performing comedy half his life. He’s performed regularly at Minneapolis’ Acme Comedy Co. and is a longtime member of the improv group ComedySportz.
Oh and, based on his myspace page, his girlfriend’s name is Carmen.
Welcome to the show, James.
He should deepen his voice a little. Needs more disc jockey tone.

His Servo voice kinda sounds similar to that of Josh’s Servo.

Jim Mallon may own the rights to the name and characters, but we all know who the real Servo & Crow are. And along with the real Mike, I really hope they get cracking on new Film Crew dvds.

Kevin Murphy = Tom Servo
Anyone who isn’t Kevin Murphy = Not Tom Servo.

Very professional sounding voice! Took me about 5 seconds to get used to it.
Good Job James!

For what it’s worth, I really like his take on Servo.
Unfortunately, that’s about the only good thing I can say about the new venture so far…

Actually, I like his servo. Sounds nothing like Kevin or Josh’s, but, that would make sense. James’s take on him sounds pretty good, took only a few minutes to get used to.

I’m going to hold my judgment till they crank some more product out… but right now, I’m not too impressed with any of it.

I’m giving it all time to develop. It took a few minutes to get used to James as Servo, but then again it took about the same time to warm up to Paul as Crow. I think they’ll be fine.
So how come no one isn’t bringing up missing Patrick as Gypsy? He was a fine replacement for Jim. I guess Jim will always by Gypsy.
