Alright, got it free with my $3.00 gift certificate from monday.
Could it be? GABE! Finally! The greatest character in the Batman mythos! Right up there with the Joker, Aunt Harriet, and Crazy Quilt.
Great, I hope these keep coming!
As a person who cares nothing about animation, comics or super hero fiction, I say bring me some good old Union Pacific, Centron or Jam Handy shorts anyday.
Huge slam on animation out of nowhere. At least they’re not riffing a serial about filthy anteaters.
It was a good episode made better by GABE!!! Love the Gabe. :)
Doesn’t happen often enough to make a drinking game, but every time Batman has to adjust his bat-hat, and angel gets its wings.
Fun fact: Batman Robert Lowery and TV Superman George Reeves both appeared in a 1942 Army sex hygiene educational film playing STD-riddled GIs.
Legend has it that Lowery’s batcostume was so ill-fitting because it was tailored for Kirk Allyn, but somebody at Columbia realized that maybe the same actor shouldn’t play Superman and Batman.
