Cinematic Titanic Pre-Show Appearance Thursday in Atlanta

As this weekend’s Cinematic Titanic shows in Atlanta approach, we’ve just heard about a signing/Q&A at Thursday, May 14 Friday May 15, at 7 1 p.m. at Criminal Records, 1154-A Euclid Ave NE.
(There has been confusion about the date and time of the event, but it’s now been confirmed to be Friday, not Thursday, at 1, not 7, p.m.)
If anybody goes, please give us a report.

I just got back from the Q&A and signing at Criminal records and it was a blast. Every single member of CT couldn’t have been nicer to all of the people who came out. Thank you Joel, Mary jo, Josh, Frank and Trace> I have never had so much fun at a signing event.

    Here is the report,

There were about 30 fans that showed up for the Q&A and signing, so each person was able to talk to each member before and after the event if they were so inclined. It had the feel of having Cinematic Titanic at your home just shooting the breeze with them. Not a single one of them acted like a diva, just regular people that were happy to meet you. I got talk to Josh about why he is called J. Elvis, got to ask why Josh and Joel left MST3K when they did. I also asked if The Green Slime maybe one of the titles that the rework (Joel said that MGM is difficult to deal with in securring the rights to their films). They were all very candid and polite. They had their new T-Shirts for sale along with new posters and their entire DVD catalog. They had no problem signing any MST3K DVD’s that you brought with you. In all of the next cities on the tour, I would strongly recommend going to any extra event that they schedule. You will not regret making the trip.
