Heather Ashley Chase was hired sight unseen with no audition for Taskforce, by the director. He had only heard about her work and talent through friends of his who had seen her in a theatre show the day before.
So it’s a Spy Kids knockoff
..except it was released 1 year before Spy Kids! (Not sure on the dates, but this is from 2000)
