You Should KnowHi there. I’ve already spoken to a couple of people about this, but I think everybody ought to know. I simply can’t continue my current workload with MSTory. A couple of weeks ago I sat down at my computer to work on MSTory and I simply couldn’t remember what to do.
I’m better, thanks, but the episode made me realize that the crush I was operating under was simply not sustainable. So. Beginning today, “This Date in MSTory” becomes “The Best of MSTory.” Every day (or almost every day) I will note one or two births, deaths and events and I will leave others to fill in the gaps as needed and desired. Just wanted to put in my “thanks” to you because I’m sure this has become more difficult with lessening rewards. I wasn’t here from the beginning but found this just before Cinematic Titanic started. I read your two books and enjoyed them thoroughly and still find comfort stopping by and poking around. You have done your share to promote the brand. Just remember to Stay Demented!!!
Sampo. Fortunately Sitting Duck seems to know the things that you put up every day, so take a well deserved rest.
I honestly thought this was automated since it just needs to post the same thing for each day every year, and the only changes are new deaths. With all due respect I don’t see how this could take more than 15 minutes per week.

Thanks for all your work over the decades. It would be the height of selfishness to demand more. We’re grateful for what you continue to give, but please don’t run yourself into the ground for us. We’re glad your not retiring, but we’d understand if you did. Take care of yourself.
