I bought this one a few months ago.It’s THE perfect movie for them to do.Too bad MST3K didn’t do it.So many goofs in this one..I wonder if this one will be on dvd,like Voodoo Man?? Hope so..Keep riffing on those god-awful movies from the 30’s and 40’s fellas!!

Maniac is one of my all-time favorite bad movies. It will riff like a dream.
I LOVE this movie, it’s insane and super-quotable. What a great choice for the Riffmasters!

I love that movie and watch it quite often. I really don’t think they can add much to the movie, but I will probably get it anyway.

oh wow! DRAG ME TO HELL is actually quite enjoyable Sam Raimi goodness. Now I have an excuse to watch it again “with friends.” But why no Kevin?
Kevin’s not in Drag Me to Hell because of some sort of trip to Australia.
I’d say there’s a pretty good chance Maniac will be released as a DVD in a few months.

Ah, Drag Me To Hell, an overrated movie in my opinion. I heard nothing but good things, and after watching it I was disappointed. It was not scary, not funny (despite the presence of that Mac guy) and not entertaining. In other words, I am happy Rifftrax chose it.
Unfortunately for Rifftrax, I will not buy this because I do not want to sit through this film again. I bet they do a great job on it though.
I will say that this movie isn’t too hard to find for those who don’t want to go the video on demand route or the download to burn journey. Hitting up a site like public domain torrents has it although I can’t speak too good as the quality is hit or miss but still.
Well you can get the DVD for Maniac from Netflix or Amazon.com. Some of the free online versions won’t sync up though, so best bet is to get a DVD and sync with the MP3, or just buy the video on demand.
Is anyone else having a problem getting the Maniac sample to play? I don’t recall this happening before.
Just go to the Rifftrax website, find the Maniac page and click “watch sample”. It plays there.
